Been traveling too much...
In the last year I have been in the following airports (and I hate to fly):

Oakland-San Diego-Oakland
Oakland-Houston-St.Louis-Houston-Oakland
San Francisco-Minneapolis-Amsterdam-Copenhagen-Heathrow-Amsterdam-Heathrow-San Francisco
(I hate Heathrow!!!!)
San Francisco-Heathrow-Copenhagen-Prague-Amsterdam-San Francisco
San Francisco-Boston-San Francisco

I had 7 hour layovers and multiple bags lost. I am so glad it is going to be at least 6 months before I fly again. But the mental poo-poo is still there. Last night I dreamed of attending a home birth at a friends house with a bunch of other close friends and when the babies head began to crown a voice from above said----Flight Attendants prepare for arrival---

God is my co-pilot????

Heathrow always seemed like a really stupid counterintuitive airport. I also thought that Narita airport was stuipd and counterintuitive. Maybe I'm just a dumb American. I love O'Hare though. Maybe it's just because I grew up out there, but I'm really fond of the Field Museum exhibits in O'Hare. Denver is a gorgeous airport too with some really great Native American exhibits. Phoenix and Atlanta airports are pretty lame. If you have to get stuck someone where try for O'Hare or Denver.

I love museums in airports. They have one at Amsterdam for the National Museum.

Do they still have the ashtrays next to the "no Smoking" signs? I always thought that their completely ignored "no Smoking" signs were the best!
